INATTENTIVE ADHD- the artwork
ADHD is often well-known for hyperactivity and the “never sitting still”, “talking too much” or even just being constantly active. Often not, ADHD is also paired with being a “boys’ disorder”.

Girls with ADHD face unique challenges such as being misunderstood and underdiagnosed. They are often overlooked or misjudged due to their gender stereotypes. Girls with ADHD are usually labeled as "chatty," "distracted," or "emotional," and their symptoms are often assumed to be a result of their being overemotional or hormonal. Therefore, they tend to go undiagnosed, and they struggle socially, academically, and with their mental health. By raising awareness of ADHD in girls, we can help break down the stereotypes and provide them with the support they need to thrive.

The sketch:
A unfortunately all too common occurrence- suffering in silence. Especially with no understanding of why it is that makes things so difficult can often result in a low self esteem and leave them without the compassion or knowledge on how to get help or go easy on themselves.

As a person who struggles with this personally, it's a case that I hold dear to me and I feel very strongly for.
